John "Dak" Williams manages an extensive on-hill operations team to create safe, exciting infrastructures for all MSI competitions. As the On Hill Event Director for The Honda Ski Tour he oversees everything from setting up start gates and fencing to planning, designing and assisting in course builds.

 

Dak is the announcer for the Subaru U.S. Freeskiing  Series and is the creator of the Sickbird award, the most coveted award in big-mountain skiing.

 

A Graduate of the University of Utah with a B.S. in Manufacturing Engineering Dak has been skiing for 33 years. He is an avid mountain biker, road biker and golfer, and has been with MSI since 1998. Dak recently welcomed his new son Jasper with wife Cara in September 2007.
